Information we collect

When you begin the readiness check, Food Safety Bites records an anonymous assessment session, campaign or referring-source context, progress, answers, category scores, and the resulting priorities. A completed assessment is retained even if you do not provide contact details. If you unlock the full result, the assessment is associated with the first name, email, and any optional company, role, or country details you provide.

The controlled FTLE beta stores the account identity supplied by the sign-in provider, learning progress, answers, session activity, XP, mastery, streaks, review history, and optional question-quality feedback. Temporary session state may remain in the browser so an interrupted review can resume.

How information is used

Submitted information is used to provide and preserve requested results, respond when follow-up is requested, understand recurring operational needs, improve the learning and website experience, and protect the site from misuse. Optional marketing consent is separate from the processing required to provide an assessment result and is not selected by default. Food Safety Bites does not sell personal information.

Measurement and attribution

The site records limited interaction data such as page views, selected pathways, campaign parameters, completed forms, review starts and completions, answer outcomes, explanation views, and return sessions. These events help measure whether the beta is understandable and useful; question text is not included in analytics event properties. Optional third-party analytics services are loaded only when configured by the site owner.

Learning-content protection

Protected beta questions are delivered only to signed-in learners in small review sets. The reviewer uses access controls, request limits, server-side answer verification, and a nonsensitive learner alias watermark to discourage bulk copying and redistribution. It does not secretly capture screenshots, activate cameras, inspect unrelated files, or claim that screenshots can be universally prevented.

Your choices

First name, email, and result-processing consent are required before beginning the free readiness assessment so progress and results can remain connected. Marketing email is separate and optional. Private result links are non-guessable and expire after 30 days. The controlled FTLE beta requires sign-in. To request access, correction, or deletion of information you previously submitted, use the contact form and state that your message is a privacy request.
